Workshop on "Effective mentoring practices"
Description:
Mentoring can be a powerful tool to develop one’s career, change direction, and promote a healthy work-life balance. An effective mentoring relationship facilitates the mentee’s development from both a personal and professional perspective. But what makes a great mentor? What challenges may arise during the mentoring process and should can these be effectively managed? As part of the 2025 ESOT Mentorship Programme, Ellen Boeren, Professor of Education at the University of Glasgow, will discuss effective mentoring practices for this year’s mentors and for anyone who is interested in enhancing their mentoring skills.
